C-12 Lacrosse

Last year, I bought a C-12 shaft for my son Jack.  I wanted to write to you to say how much he loves that stick.

He just completed his spring youth league season and crushed it.  He’s only 11 yrs old, but his shot speed is up to 65 mph (Bushnell Speedster III radar setup) and that’s 10 mph faster than anyone else his age in Minneapolis.  Yes, he practices a ton, but the lightweight shaft certainly helps.  Here’s a vid of his spring season: https://vimeo.com/66610944

I wanted to pass along my Thanks for all of your help with yesterday’s raffle to benefit Joey Healy. We raised $ 4,500 dollars! There were 20 teams there from Indiana, Ohio and Pittsburgh – and the enthusiasm of all the boys was fun to see.

Joey was there when we pulled the raffle tickets at 1:30 – and my hope is that the young men were able to learn from Joey – that no matter what life throws at you, everyone needs to “Keep on, Keepin” on!” That was the saying Joey adopted when he was diagnosed.

Yesterday also proved what us that have been around the great game of lacrosse for some time all know that the lacrosse community is absolutely the best when it comes to “honoring the game” and those that have dedicated their lives to it like Joey Healy!

The prizes that you all generously donated were outstanding, we sold over 6,000 raffle tickets and the boys were able to select what prize they wanted to try to win – I can honestly tell you that every bag was full of tickets, whether it was a $100 head or a $15 hat.

Things I Liked:
The shaft itself is very light, extremely durable, and the plastic coating feels unique and its texture is great for players who do and dont want tape. Also im really glad that my head doesnt wiggle on the shaft, it fits on really well. Best shaft i’ve ever owned and dont think ill ever really have to get another one.
Things to Improve:
you do have to drill in a screw hole but its really easy and i just used an electronic screwdriver with a self-taping screw. the butt end also doesnt seem to align up properly, but it is really durable and I actually like that because then my butt end doesnt get a hole in the bottom like i normally have.
Full Review:
Really great shaft, people thinking about this should get it. The price is a little high, but in the end, it will pay for itself, the shaft lasts forever and if all the graphics come off you can get it redone by C-12. Great shaft, great buy.
